Responsibilities

Your Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Downstream Non-Ferrous Recovery Supervisor to lead and manage our night shift operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting the non-ferrous recovery system daily, supervising a team of 8-10 employees, and maintaining accurate production reports. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a solid background in maintenance and repair.

 

  • Supervise a team of 8-10 employees, including 2 operators and 6-8 laborers, ensuring smooth and efficient operations during the night shift.
  • Inspect the non-ferrous recovery system daily to ensure proper functioning and address any issues that arise.
  • Maintain and update accurate production reports, ensuring that all data is correctly recorded and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintenance and repair activities as needed, utilizing your experience to minimize downtime and enhance system performance.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed by the team.
  • Provide training and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with other supervisors and management to ensure alignment with overall production goals.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of non-ferrous recovery processes and equipment.
  • Maintenance and repair experience is a major plus.
  • Ability to work the night shift (Monday-Friday, 9 pm-7 am) consistently.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish or Creole).
