Responsibilities

Your Role:

As a Portable Sanitation Driver will be responsible for the delivery, servicing, and maintenance of portable toilets. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

    • Operate a portable toilet vacuum truck to service, pump, and clean portable restrooms at various locations
    • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements
    • Deliver and set up portable toilets at customer sites, ensuring proper placement and stability
    • Pump waste from portable toilets into the truck’s holding tank and transport it to designated disposal sites
    • Clean and sanitize portable toilets, restocking supplies as needed
    • Maintain detailed records of services performed, including dates, locations, and any issues encountered
    • Communicate with customers to address any concerns and ensure satisfaction with services
    • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, including DOT requirements

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Knowledge of local geography and road networks
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures
  • Ability to operate and maintain waste collection vehicles and equipment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and operating heavy equipment
  • Shifts may vary, 40+ hours per week (overtime available)
  • Must be able to safely lift and move 50lbs or more at a time
  • Able to sit in trailer cab for extended periods of time
  • Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish or Creole)
