Responsibilities

Your Role:

As a Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Answer customer calls promptly and courteously, addressing inquiries regarding waste collection services, billing, and account management
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Process service requests, cancellations, and changes to customer accounts
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback
  • Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
  • Provide information about services, policies, and procedures to customers
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved satisfactorily
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation as needed

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service or related fields is a plus
  • Proven experience as a customer service representative, preferably in the waste management or a related industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and other relevant computer applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
