Your Role:

As a Tire Technician you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing tires on our fleet of waste collection vehicles.

• Inspect and assess the condition of tires on waste collection vehicles
• Perform tire repairs, including patching and plugging punctures
• Replace worn or damaged tires and ensure proper disposal of old tires
• Conduct tire rotations and balancing to ensure even wear and optimal performance
• Maintain detailed records of tire maintenance and repairs
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify tire-related issues
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
• Communicate with drivers and fleet managers to schedule maintenance and address tire-related concerns
• Maintain inventory of tires and related supplies, ordering new stock as needed
• Assist with other maintenance tasks as required

What We’re Looking For:

• • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a tire technician, preferably in the waste management or transportation industry
  • Strong knowledge of tire repair and maintenance techniques
  • Proficiency in using tire repair and balancing equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish or Creole)
