Your Role:
The Post-Collection Electrical Specialist will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment used in waste collection and processing facilities.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to resolve them promptly, ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing system disruptions.
• Oversee or complete the installation and upgrading of electrical systems, including wiring, control panels, and power distribution systems, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Complete required documentation related to repairs, equipment/parts orders, and maintenance activities. Prepare detailed reports on the status of electrical systems and recommend improvements for preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to electrical systems and waste management. Conduct safety audits, implement corrective measures, and maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in waste management or industrial setting.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must have their own tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Shifts may vary, 40+ hours per week (overtime available)
