Your Role:

We’re looking for a Route Operations Supervisor to oversee our waste and recycling routes, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional service delivery. In this dynamic role, you’ll manage a team of drivers, optimizing routes and contributing to our commitment to environmental stewardship.

 

  • Plans, distributes, monitors, and follows-up daily route assignments to ensure customers are serviced per company standards and agreements.
  • Manages the end-of-day check-in process, capturing and communicating key service, safety, and equipment issues.
  • Assists with data collection and reporting required for incentive pay programs.
  • Works with HR Department to ensure all employees Department of Transportation requirements are met.
  • Conducts Root Cause Investigations for all injuries and incidents and working with team members to resolve matters.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid driver license with acceptable record is required
  • Commercial Driver license (CDL) would be an asset, but is not required
  • Proven experience in route management or operations, preferably in waste management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team building and motivation.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in using route optimization software and Microsoft Office Suite.
