Overview

Coastal Waste & Recycling is privately-owned, locally-operated waste disposal and recycling company. We are experiencing explosive growth and with growth comes opportunity. We are adding a Business Analyst to be a vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives.

 

 

Responsibilities

The Business Analyst will work with internal customers and the IT department to gather, document and recommend user requirements and specifications for existing and new financial reports and business processes. Additionally, the Business Analyst will review and interrogate large amounts of data to determine the characteristics as well as the integrity of the data.  Essential functions of the position include:

  • Developing systems and tools for effective data management, visualization and interpretation (systems design, dashboards, information graphics, mapping, Power BI)
  • Building and deploying processes that ensure timely data-loading that maintains accuracy and relevance of data used within the business
  • Providing technical assistance and building understanding among partners about the effective use of data
  • Working with internal clients to identify systems and process solutions that will enable new business opportunities
  • Advising on new data infrastructure technologies, inclusive of data-warehousing, reporting, and analytics platforms
  • Understanding fundamentals of current ERP systems
  • Attending meetings with management to assess business needs

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Experience in report creation, modeling, and trend forecasting.  Strong background in SQL with experience performing administrative tasks on SQL servers helpful.  #CWRHP
